To celebrate Earth Day, Community CU is hosting a Community Recycle Day. This drive-thru event will take place from 9:00 am until 12:00 pm on April 16 and offer Auburn area residents a convenient way to shred documents, recycle items, or donate clean reusable resources to the SHAREcenter. During last year’s event, over 3,600 pounds of documents were shredded to help protect local community members against identity theft. A collection drive for cans and bottles also will take place to benefit the SHAREcenter.
The credit union is partnering with the SHAREcenter, Stratham Tire, and Without A Trace Mobile Shredding to provide this important service. You do not need to be a member of Community CU to participate in this free event. For more information, visit Community CU’s Facebook page.
