Community CU is inviting credit unions and community partners to attend a free Bridges Out of Poverty Workshop on Wednesday, September 16 from 1:00 – 4:00 pm at the Auburn Public Library.
The workshop will introduce proven concepts and strategies for understanding, preventing, and reducing poverty while helping communities strengthen resources and improve outcomes for individuals working toward greater economic stability.
Designed for employers, community organizations, government agencies, social service providers, and other community stakeholders, the session will explore ways to improve job retention, build stronger support systems, and encourage collaboration across sectors.
There is no cost to attend, but registration is required. Please use this link to register.
Credit unions are encouraged to participate and share the opportunity with others in their communities who may benefit.
And because it’s never too early to “save the date,” Community CU will host its final training in 2026 on Wednesday, November 4. For more information about that event, which will also be held at the Auburn Public Library, please click here.
