Community CU & the League Invite You to a Special Business After Hours Event

On October 17 from 5-6:30 pm, the Lewiston Auburn Metropolitan Chamber of Commerce and Uplift LA will hold a special Business After Hours at Good Shepherd Food Bank in Auburn and you are invited!

Coinciding with International Credit Union Day, this free event is open to the public (you do not have to be a Chamber member to attend) and will be hosted by Community CU and the League to raise awareness about Maine’s Credit Unions’ Campaign for Ending Hunger. Participants also can sign up to volunteer at the food bank prior to the event. Three volunteer time slots are available:

  • 4:00-5:00 pm
  • 4:15-5:15 pm
  • 4:30-5:30 pm

“Community Credit Union has long term ties to the Lewiston Auburn Metro Chamber and its rising professionals group, Uplift LA,” said Jennifer Hogan, President/CEO of Community Credit Union. “Sponsoring Business After Hours in October amidst Credit Union Week celebrations across the state is a perfect way to showcase the Maine Credit Unions’ Campaign for Ending Hunger to nearly 1,000 businesses. We are honored to spread awareness of this very successful credit union initiative and demonstrate the power of collaboration among Maine Credit Unions.”
