In celebration of Earth Day, Community CU invites their community to its annual Community Recycle Day Drive-Thru event on Saturday, April 25 from 9:00 am – 12:00 pm. This free gathering will bring together local partners to offer a convenient way to recycle, donate, and give back—all in one stop. The event is is open to all and there is no membership required.
Participating community partners who will be in attendance include:
- Shredding On Site – Secure document destruction
- North Coast Services – Electronics recycling (TVs, computers, monitors, printers)
- Kaydenz Kitchen – Clothing, coats, and shoes
- SeniorsPlus – Puzzles, assistive devices, shelf stable foods, and essentials for homebound individuals (cannot accept commodes)
- Kommunity Kritters – Pet food, litter, toys, and supplies
- BDS Tire Recycling – Residential Tires (see event link for specific details)
- Maine Credit Unions’ Campaign for Ending Hunger – Bottle and can drive to support local food pantries
