Changing Seasons FCU found a unique way to give back and celebrate people who are doing good deeds in their community. The credit union recognized twelve people over a twelve week period. For each person celebrated, Changing Seasons donated at least a dozen pairs of socks to the Shaw House Streetlight Outreach Program. A total of 200 pairs were donated to the program which assists youths who are homeless or at risk of becoming homeless.

“New socks are among the most needed items for people who are in fragile situations, such as those who are homeless,” said Sue Cross, CEO, Changing Seasons FCU. “Many members of our homeless population walk several miles per day to access food and shelter. That’s easier when feet are healthy, warm, and dry.”
