Casco FCU’s Jim Stone Retires After Many Years of Dedicated Service

The team at Casco FCU would like to congratulate Jim Stone on his retirement. Jim has served as President & CEO for the last 15 years and has led the credit union through a period of tremendous growth. He was instrumental in expanding Casco FCU’s charter to include York County and increasing the credit union’s assets from $32.7 million to $103 million.

During his tenure, Jim served on the Board of Trustees for both the Insurance Trust and CUSO Home Lending. He also has been deeply involved with Maine Credit Unions’ Campaign for Ending Hunger. Through this effort, he proudly supported numerous fundraising projects to benefit the Buxton, Gorham, and Standish food pantries.

Most importantly, Jim has been a leader, mentor, and friend to his members and staff. His daily presence at Casco FCU’s 375 Main Street office will be greatly missed.

The League joins the credit union in wishing Jim the best of luck as he embarks on his next journey. Congratulations, Jim!
