Despite the weather, Casco FCU held its 7th Annual Ride to End Hunger on August 3 at their 393 Ossipee Trail location in Gorham. The credit union hosts this event every summer to support Maine Credit Unions’ Campaign for Ending Hunger. In total, Casco FCU raised $5,445.60 for the Campaign!

Last year’s sun allowed them to collect $11,163.79 for the Campaign, and they were able to disperse checks for $3,757.66 to the Gorham Food Pantry, the Standish Food Pantry, and the Buxton Food Co-op. This support allowed these important community resources to make crucial upgrades like purchasing new refrigerators and completing much-needed renovations to their facilities. The credit union looks forward to putting the funds raised in 2024 to good use yet again.

Casco FCU invites you to keep an eye out for information on next year’s ride.
