Advancing the mission of the Maine State Society for the Protection of Animals (MSSPA), an organization that cares for abused and neglected horses and other animals, is a cause that is near and dear to employees at Casco FCU. That’s why the team organized its first Hay for the Holidays fundraiser to benefit the organization.
“$5 buys one bale of hay for MSSPA’s animals,” said Kelsey Gillespie, Marketing & Sales Director at Casco Federal Credit Union. “We asked our members to donate $5 and they rose to the occasion to help feed our four-legged friends at the MSSPA this winter.”
On January 10, thanks to the support of their members, Board of Directors, and Supervisory Committee, Casco FCU donated $2,000 to MSSPA. The contribution will help feed one horse for more than a year.
