Casco Cares Campaign Delivers for Its Members

Casco FCU recently partnered with Gorham House of Pizza to remind older members living in their community how much the credit union cares about them.

Eleven local recipients received a pasta dinner generously prepared by Gorham House of Pizza. They also received a Hannaford gift card and safety kit from the credit union containing face masks, disposable gloves, and hand sanitizer.

Patty Kenney, Casco FCU’s Community Relations Manager, organized the special delivery as a part of the credit union’s ongoing Casco Cares Campaign.

“We want our members to know we care and are here for them,” said Kenney. “COVID-19 has changed the way we interact with our community, but we are finding new ways to connect with those who need our support. The Casco Cares Meal Delivery Project was one small way we could do that,” says Kenney.

Since March, the Casco Cares Campaign has been busy raising funds to support the Maine Credit Unions’ Campaign to End Hunger. The Campaign also has provided direct support to the Gorham and Standish Food Pantries to ensure the community has continued access to healthy and nutritious meals.
