The Maine CU Financial Literacy Council is pleased to announce an educational opportunity to find out more about how your credit union can be a financial literacy resource in your area. Please join us for the webinar, Resources for Practicing Hands-on Financial Education on Monday, March 16, from 10:00 a.m. to 11:30 a.m.
Our webinar leader, Louisa Quittman is the Director for the Office of Financial Education of the U.S. Department of the Treasury and is an advocate for financial education among American youth and young adults. Quittman is responsible for policy development and coordination related to promoting the financial decision making and well-being of Americans. She plays a lead role in coordinating the interagency Financial Literacy and Education Commission and supports the President's Advisory Council on Financial Capability.
