The Internal Revenue Service (IRS) will not be raising the business mileage rate in 2020. The rate will remain at 58 cents per mile.
The IRS’ standard mileage rate for business use is based on an annual study of the fixed and variable costs of operating an automobile. Although the IRS sets this rate annually, it is not a mandated reimbursement for all drivers.
