Bangor FCU Raises Over $11,000 to Help End Hunger

It was a picturesque day on the greens when Bangor Federal Credit Union hosted its 8th Annual Ending Hunger Golf Tournament. The popular event returned to the Rocky Knoll Country Club in Orrington and provided competitive fun for a good cause. Proceeds from the event will benefit Maine Credit Unions’ Campaign for Ending Hunger and help Bangor FCU provide critical financial assistance to local food pantries.

This year’s tournament was supported by over 29 generous sponsors and 40 players. The event raised over $11,000 for the Campaign.

“Bangor Federal wants to thank the Rocky Knoll County Club for hosting our event, as well as the businesses and individuals that contributed to this great cause,” said Cody Morgan, Marketing Manager at Bangor FCU. “We also want to acknowledge the participants who made the day out on the course one to remember!”
