During the Augusta City Council’s meeting on September 1, six local credit unions were recognized for their commitment to ending hunger in the community. Capital Area FCU, Connected CU, cPort CU, KV FCU, Maine State CU, and Trademark FCU each were honored with the Mayor’s Recognition of Excellence (REX) Award.
The REX Award was created to recognize individuals, companies, groups, and organizations whose efforts have showcased the City of Augusta as a special place to live, work, or recreate.
The League extends our congratulations to these deserving credit unions and thanks them for their ongoing work and commitment to Maine Credit Unions’ Campaign for Ending Hunger.
