Atlantic Foundation Awards $20,000 in Scholarships to Graduating High School Students

The Atlantic FCU Foundation is proud to recognize Teagan Davenport, Freeport High School senior, as the $10,000 Atlantic College Scholarship recipient. In addition to Teagan Davenport’s scholarship, Atlantic FCU awarded an additional $10,000 in scholarships to the following recipients:

  • Adelaide McKelvey of Mt. Ararat High School was awarded $5,000
  • Aidan Greenleaf of Mt. Ararat High School was awarded $2,500
  • Isabella Fournier of Morse High School was awarded $1,500
  • Kylie Crocker of Greely High School was awarded $1,000

This past spring, graduating high school seniors who are members at Atlantic FCU were invited to apply for an Atlantic FCU Foundation College Scholarship. The applicants were asked to provide an essay, a reference letter from a high school teacher or counselor, a resume, including community service, and their transcript. The Atlantic Scholarship Committee reviewed each application and selected the recipients.

“We’re dedicated to improving our members’ financial well-being and helping them do better,” shared Scott Chretien, CEO/President at Atlantic FCU. “The Atlantic scholarship program lets us accomplish both by supporting students’ pursuit of higher education. We want to thank everyone who applied to the scholarship program. Whether you’re attending college in the fall or joining the workforce early, we just want to congratulate you and wish you good luck!”
