Atlantic FCU has welcomed two experienced leaders into key roles on its branch management team. Dereck Archer has been appointed as Branch Manager of the Topsham location, and Gabe Michelson will take on the role of Retail Services Manager at the Saco and Westbrook branches. With distinct strengths and proven leadership track records, both are well-positioned to support Atlantic’s continued growth and operational excellence.

Dereck Archer
Archer brings broad experience in customer service and team leadership, with a focus on driving satisfaction and cultivating positive workplace culture. His leadership philosophy centers on listening first, leading by example, and fostering respect and accountability.
“I’m genuinely excited to join an organization dedicated to community engagement and committed to creating an inclusive environment,” said Archer.
A graduate of the University of Maine at Machias with a Bachelor of Arts in English, Archer coaches youth sports in the Litchfield and Sabattus areas and enjoys camping, fishing, and time with family.
Michelson offers over 15 years of banking experience and a strong background in team development and frontline service. He encourages a work environment where employees are supported, challenged, and empowered to grow.

Gabe Michelson
Michelson holds a Bachelor of Arts in Communication from the University of Southern Maine and has volunteered with several local organizations. In his free time, he enjoys family travel, golfing, concerts, and time with his wife and three daughters.
