In honor of National Volunteer Month, Atlantic FCU is celebrating volunteers who help their communities. Individuals who volunteer at a 501(c)(3) nonprofit located in Androscoggin, Cumberland, Sagadahoc, or York County are encouraged to take a photo that captures their organization’s mission and submit it as a nomination. Atlantic FCU will be encouraging their social media followers to vote for their favorite nonprofit and the one with the most votes will receive $1,000.

“We know that giving back to the community can take a variety of forms, said Scott Chretien, Atlantic FCU President/Chief Executive Officer. “We want to applaud those that give their time to help others and recognize the great work of so many organizations.”
Visit the credit union’s website to submit a photo or vote for your favorite nonprofit. Atlantic FCU will be accepting photo submissions through April 11 and will begin the voting period on April 12. All votes must be cast by April 30.
