The Atlantic FCU Foundation is thrilled to announce a $5,000 donation to JMG (formally incorporated as Jobs for Maine’s Graduates, Inc.) supporting their innovative Maine Career Exploration Model. This first-in-the-nation framework embeds career-connected learning and financial literacy into middle and high school educational programs.
A key program component, the Financial Literacy Credential, equips students with crucial budgeting, saving, and financial management skills, preparing them for lifelong personal and professional success. The Foundation is dedicated to fostering education, financial literacy, and community empowerment across Southern Maine. With strategic partnerships and initiatives, the Foundation aims to build stronger communities today for a better tomorrow.
“Through our investment in JMG’s Maine Career Exploration Model, we are investing in the future of Maine’s workforce,” said Chris McGorrill, President of the Atlantic FCU Foundation Board. “This partnership emphasizes our commitment to providing young people with the opportunities and knowledge they need to succeed academically, professionally, and financially.”

JMG partners with public education and private businesses to offer results-driven solutions to ensure all Maine students graduate, attain post-secondary credentials, and pursue meaningful careers. Serving more than 12,000 students each year, JMG offers on-ramps from 6th grade through age 24 through nearly 150 programs embedded in public schools, career and technical education centers, and on every campus in the University of Maine System and the Maine Community College System.
