Atlantic FCU Awards $2,500 College Scholarship to Sanford Student

Atlantic FCU congratulates Dawson Knapp of Sanford for being selected as the 2021 Atlantic/Amable & Vivian Caron $2,500 College Scholarship recipient. Currently attending the University of Maine, Dawson was selected from numerous entries to receive the award after submitting his application and writing a short essay about personal achievement.

“We are happy to award Dawson this scholarship and wish him all the best in his future studies,” said Scott Chretien, President/Chief Executive Officer at Atlantic FCU. “Sharing the enduring legacy of the Amable A. Caron and Vivian Caron endowment is an honor. As longtime members of the credit union, they wanted to support younger members in furthering their education.”

Atlantic FCU will announce its college scholarships for high school seniors in February 2022. Five scholarships totaling $20,000 will be awarded.
