Aroostook County Training: Four Days, Three Different Courses

Your League's Director of Education, Jane Thomas, will be making a trip to Madawaska for three training sessions covering a variety of topics and skills. This is a great opportunity to get your or your staff additional, hands-on training with minimal travel and time away from the office. Courses offered include Certified Teller Specialist – Part One, Supervisor University – Building an Effective Team, and Your Professional Image Matters.

Certified Teller Specialist - Part One
June 16-17, 2015 | 9:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.
NorState FCU, 78 Fox St., Madawaska
This comprehensive two-day program provides an in-depth look at teller operations and skills including credit union history, money handling, check fraud, teller transactions, Regulation CC, BSA compliance and more! Attendees will also get an overview of other departments and have a chance to look at the credit union as a whole.

Supervisor University - Building an Effective Team
June 18, 2015 | 9:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.

In this course, Supervisors will learn to appreciate differences and apply individual strengths to help build a successful team. You will review the importance of setting meaningful goals and determine ways to work together more productively to produce a positive credit union image.  Additionally, you will uncover the five common dysfunctions that prevent a team from achieving maximum performance! Your Professional Image Matters

Many successful people attribute their success to interpersonal behavior and skills as professional abilities. This half day course covers what makes up a professional image, why first impressions matter, and the importance of appearance and communication skills. Attendees will also hear more about how to adjust attitudes and how to manage a professional image.
