Riders stop for a photo break during the annual Aroostook Chapter of Credit Unions Snowmobile Run.
The Aroostook Chapter of Maine Credit Unions held their 10th annual Snowmobile Run on February 10. During the event, hosted by NorState FCU, 21 riders hit the Northern Maine trails to raise money for Maine Credit Unions’ Campaign for Ending Hunger, Special Olympics Maine, and CULAC. Participants enjoyed a beautiful day on groomed trails, traveling approximately 135 miles from Madawaska to Caribou. A total of $4,200 was raised.
The Chapter will hold two additional fundraising events later this year, including an ATV run hosted by Acadia FCU and a golf tournament hosted by The County FCU. Details about these events will be shared in the coming weeks.
