The Aroostook Chapter of CUs is proud to announce that Emma Bragg of Fort Fairfield High School is the recipient of a $1,000 scholarship. The scholarship was offered to a local high school student who attended the Chapter’s Financial Fitness Fair in November—a joint initiative organized by four participating credit unions including Acadia FCU, NorState FCU, The County FCU, and UCU.

The fall Financial Fitness Fair provided an engaging opportunity for students to build essential financial literacy skills through a hands-on budget simulation. During the event, students were presented with real-life scenarios that challenged them to create and manage a budget, providing them with practical experience that will benefit them throughout their lives.

As part of the event, students were invited to apply for a $1,000 scholarship to pursue higher education or vocational training. This scholarship is another way the Aroostook Chapter is supporting local youth in their communities.

Our League joins the Chapter in congratulating Emma on her award!
