The Maine Credit Union League is presenting an Advanced IRA Conference on Wednesday, March 30, at the Augusta Civic Center in Augusta, and this conference is designed to build upon attendees' knowledge of IRA basics to address some of the more complex IRA issues the credit union may handle.
This is an advanced session; previous IRA knowledge is assumed. Attendees will learn from an instructor that uses real-world exercises to help participants apply information to job-related situations. Course topics include: Resolving contribution issues; Advanced portability; Required minimum distributions; Beneficiary options; and Conducting your own Compliance Audit.
Attending this Conference is particularly important for anyone who is an IRA administrator or member services personnel who has a working knowledge of basic IRA operations and wishes to expand your expertise and provide enhanced customer service; or a compliance specialist with procedural oversight of IRA policies and practices.
