Acadia FCU Names 2023 Scholarship Recipients


Acadia FCU is pleased to announce their 2023 Acadia FCU scholarship recipients. Genevieve Michaud-Naranja, Nolan Raymond, and Samuel Lausier will each receive $2,000 to help fund their college educations.

We are so incredibly proud to play a role in fostering their growth and success by helping them with their education expenses.”

Michaud-Naranja is a 2023 graduate of Fort Kent Community High School and plans to attend the University of Southern Maine to study biology. She is the daughter of Dawn Brown and Rogelio Naranja.

Raymond is a 2023 graduate of Hermon High School and plans to attend Auburn University in Alabama to study aviation. He is the son of Brian and Kendra Raymond.

Lausier is a 2023 graduate of Madawaska Middle/High School and plans to attend the University of Maine at Orono to study finance. He is the son of Timothy and Janice Lausier.

Recipients were selected based on academic credentials, extra-curricular involvement, a written essay, personal achievements, and financial need. Scholarship earners will each receive $2,000 toward their education, with $1,000 awarded after the first semester of their first year and the second $1,000 installment payable after the second semester of their second year.

Class of 2024 students who meet eligibility requirements are encouraged to apply for the Acadia FCU scholarship. The scholarship application will be available at acadiafcu.org beginning January 15, 2024.
