Every summer, David Desjardins, Acadia FCU President/CEO, invites his employees and their families to his home for a special meal. This annual event offers a great day of food, fun, and bonding for co-workers and extended family alike.
While the COVID-19 pandemic prevented the Acadia FCU team from gathering together this year, it didn’t stop the credit union from doing something to recognize its hardworking staff. All employees were given a $30 Hannaford gift card to help them host their own, socially distanced barbecues at home. In addition, the credit union asked staff to share photos from their barbecues for a chance to win a $40 Visa gift card for best entry.
Hats off to the credit union for finding a way to safely celebrate summer and its employees. And, congratulations to Acadia FCU’s Justin Dubois for taking home the photo prize. Justin submitted a humorous video entry documenting how he enjoyed his virtual barbecue all by himself!
