Donn Goodwin, a 55-year volunteer and long-time Board Chair at Brewer FCU, passed away unexpectedly on Saturday, April 4. Goodwin was actively involved not only with his credit union but with Maine credit union activities and events, and received the League's Alexander Ferguson Award for Outstanding CU Volunteer in 2012 for his dedication and service.
Rick Kaul, President/CEO of Brewer FCU, called Goodwin "a long-time, dedicated volunteer who cared a lot about Brewer FCU and the members it serves. He will be dearly missed."
John Murphy, President of your League, remembered Goodwin as "a great guy who participated and contributed to his credit union's success in many ways, as well as was supportive of the League and Maine's credit unions. We will remember Donn with much fondness."
