It’s hard to believe June is almost over. Thirty days go by fast when you’re having fun and motivated by an important initiative to help feed our neighbors in need.
Maine Credit Unions’ $100,000 Ending Hunger Challenge ends next week. We appreciate all the support the Challenge has received since we launched this effort on June 1. We are especially grateful for the local promotion credit unions have provided for this important effort to raise both dollars and awareness.
If your credit union has made a donation to the Challenge, thank you! If your credit union has not donated to the Challenge, there’s still time. Please consider making a contribution online or by sending a check to the Campaign at:

If your credit union has been fundraising for the Challenge, please share the total amount raised with the League by Friday, July 8. We want to ensure your dollars raised are included in the final tally. Please direct your totals to Jen Burke at jburke@mainecul.org and Lauren McCallum at lmccallum@mainecul.org. The League/Synergent will be providing the three credit unions that raise the most money during the Challenge with a $500 bonus that they can use to support a local hunger relief effort.
