Synergent receives multiple marketing honors

This past Monday evening proved to be an award-winning evening at the New England Direct Marketing Association (NEDMA) Awards Show and Dinner for Synergent’s Corporate Marketing and Marketing Services Divisions. In fact, it was award-winning multiplied by four.
Contribution to provide 80,000 summertime meals
The Maine Credit Unions’ Campaign for Ending Hunger made a significant contribution this past week, when it ‘Shared the Bread’ with 33 food pantries in Maine. The contribution will provide more than 80,000 summertime meals to hungry Mainers.

CUNA Councils provide a perfect complement to your League’s Councils, with one more focused on specific state issues and the other more focused on a national perspective. Credit unions that are represented in all seven CUNA Councils by August 17, 2018, will be entered to win a choice of two prizes, valued up to $10,000. This week, we shine the spotlight on the CUNA Marketing & Business Development Council.
League welcomes House's passage of additional reg. relief; Appreciates Congressman Poliquin's support
“Our advocacy efforts have once again resulted in the passage of more, meaningful regulatory relief for credit unions. While we recognize the House’s passage of a bill that includes delaying the NCUA’s risk-based capital rule until January 2021 and several other CU-supported measures is the first step, it represents a strong first step in that process. We especially appreciate the support of Congressman Poliquin in voting in favor of the bill,” stated Todd Mason, President/CEO of the Maine CU League, commenting on the House passing H.R. 6147, the Financial Services and General Government (FSGG) Appropriations Act for Fiscal Year 2019 earlier this week.
Management Roundtable program finalized, registration begins
The Maine CU League has the perfect way for CU leaders and management to kick-off fall, and that is by attending the 2018 Management Roundtable on September 20-21, at the Samoset in Rockport. The Roundtable’s program was just finalized, and registration has officially begin.
