On October 20, nearly 20 teams came out in support of Brewer FCU’s annual Disc Golf to End Hunger Tournament. The event, held at DR Disc Golf in Orrington, was full of comradery, fun, and friendly competition.

Dirigo FCU Hosts Annual Bowling to End Hunger Event
On Sunday, October 20, Dirigo FCU proudly rolled into Just-in-Time Recreation in Lewiston for their annual Bowling to End Hunger event. The lanes were alive with friendly competition, laughter, and a deep commitment to making a difference in the community by addressing food insecurity.
Evergreen CU Plays Disc Golf to Fight Hunger
Evergreen CU raised over $18,000 at their annual Disc Golf Scramble at Pineland Farms in New Gloucester. All proceeds from this event will be directed to the Campaign for Ending Hunger.
Changes Underway at Central Maine FCU
Central Maine FCU is thrilled to announce that its branch will be undergoing renovations over the next ten to twelve months. The credit union also is pleased to share that after much thought and planning, it has transitioned from using a classic arrow-themed logo, to a vibrant and dynamic compass design.
Lewiston-Area Credit Unions Give Back to First Responders
Credit unions in the Lewiston-area came together this week to give back to first responders leading up to the one-year anniversary of the Lewiston shootings. Visits were made to the following organizations, feeding approximately 326 first responders: Lewiston Police Department; Lisbon Police Department; Androscoggin County Sheriff’s Office; 911 Dispatch; St. Mary’s Medical Center; Central Maine Medical Center; United Ambulance; and Maine Resiliency Center.
