Convention Golf Tournament

The Maine Credit Union League is pleased to announce that we are holding our Annual Ending Hunger Golf Tournament on Wednesday, May 14! The event will take place once again at Purpoodock Club in Cape Elizabeth, Maine and will follow a shotgun start best ball format, beginning golf play promptly at 9:00 am.

We’re extra excited for this year’s fundraiser, as we are celebrating the 35th anniversary of Maine Credit Unions’ Campaign for Ending Hunger! Cans for a Cause – May 14!

Again this year, we are asking golfers and volunteers attending the tournament on May 14 who would like to demonstrate more support for our cause to bring any nonperishable food items for donation to local area food pantries. Cans for a Cause is a great way to further the impact our shared initiative has for those in need. Food items will be collected from 7:30 am until the end of the reception following golf play.

Sponsorship Opportunities

Sponsoring the golf tournament is a wonderful way to show your support! Our sponsorships make the event possible and allow for a smooth, fun day for all attendees. Whether you’d like to own a hole, have a signature drink named in your honor, help fund player prizes, or just show your love for this initiative, there are sponsorships to suit your preferences. Sponsorship opportunities are offered on a first come, first serve basis.

All sponsorship packages are sold separately from golf tickets with the exception of the Course Champion, which comes with two foursomes. However, if you would like to both sponsor and play golf, you can select and purchase your choices in one easy check-out process.

Golf Details

If you wish to enter a team into the tournament, navigate to the golf registration website, click at the top right of your screen where it says “Get Tickets,” and choose either a foursome or single golf player ticket option. Be sure to complete your ticket options for golfers to experience a smooth, seamless day of play!

Please arrive to the course between 7:30 -8:30 am to allow time to check in, grab breakfast, and meet up with your team. Lunch will be provided; if you have dietary restrictions and/or food allergies, you can choose that when managing your ticket options. You can also email Lauren Simonds to ensure your food needs are accounted for. Drinks and h’ordeuvres will follow golf play during the awards reception.
