Atlantic FCU has added to its footprint with a newly opened branch in Scarborough, located at the intersection of Payne and Ginn roads just off Exit 42 of the Maine Turnpike.
With more than $1 billion in assets, the South Portland-based credit union was ranked Maine’s largest in the 2025 Mainebiz Book of Lists.
Besides South Portland and now Scarborough, Atlantic has branches in Biddeford, Brunswick, Cumberland, Freeport, Saco, Sanford, Topsham, Westbrook, and York.
The new branch, staffed by four employees led by Retail Service Manager Angela Corriveau, features three drive-through lanes with ATMs and video teller technology. A spokesman for the credit union told Mainebiz that more employees will join the team in coming months.
“Opening a branch in Scarborough allows us to better serve our members where they live and work,” said Scott Chretien, President and CEO.
“Our goal is to make everyday banking simple and accessible, no matter how you choose to connect with us,” he added. “We look forward to being your financial home base—whether you need banking, insurance, or trusted advice, we’re here to help you do better.”
Atlantic FCU is owned by more than 49,000 members.
