Kylie Kennedy with her Student Impact of the Year Award.
Financial education advocates from across the state came together this week at Junior Achievement of Maine’s 10th Annual JAM Fest to celebrate and honor the efforts of volunteers. Held in The Cellars at Allagash Brewing Company in Portland, the event highlighted service awards and brought together supporters for a night of networking and fun.
During the evening, a Maine credit union champion was recognized for her efforts in providing financial education to youth. Kylie Kennedy, Marketing Coordinator at Seaboard FCU, was presented with the well-deserved Student Impact Award.
The award recognizes those who go above and beyond to support Junior Achievement’s mission, fostering students with valuable skills and knowledge to carry with them into the future.
With more than 650 volunteers visiting schools on behalf of Junior Achievement during the 2024/25 academic year, her selection as a standout volunteer is a testament to her concern for community, cooperation through cooperatives, education, training, and information.
Please join our League in both congratulating and thanking Kylie—an outstanding ambassador of the Maine credit union movement!
