The Dirigo FCU team presents their check to the Greater Androscoggin Humane Society.
In a world where small acts of kindness make the biggest difference, Dirigo FCU’s Purr-suit of Giving fundraiser proved just how powerful community-driven efforts can be. With a mission to support local animal welfare organizations, their members and community rallied together to raise $1,948 to benefit three incredible, local organizations: Greater Androscoggin Humane Society, Misfits Rehab, and Responsible Pet Care of Oxford Hills.
The idea for the fundraiser stemmed from Dirigo FCU’s deep-rooted belief that credit unions are true community partners. Every day, these animal organizations work tirelessly to rescue, rehabilitate, and rehome animals in need.
With that goal in mind, the credit union launched this special effort to give back in a way that makes a difference—Dirigo FCU provided essential funding for food, medical care, and shelter for animals in need. A check presentation took place on Friday, March 14 to support these organizations’ important work.
