Cumberland County FCU is pleased to announce the following team addition and employee promotions: Bethany Smith has been hired as the Vice President of Accounting; Amy Sithavady has been promoted to Vice President of HR & Compliance; Kimberly Parker has been promoted to Vice President of Service Center Operations; Abby Strout has been promoted to Cards Manager; and Margie Heald has been promoted to Branch Service Manager in Yarmouth.

About the Employees
Bethany Smith joins the credit union as its new VP of Accounting, reporting to Chief Financial Officer Ryan Grund. She will bring her extensive years of experience in auditing financial institutions to the team.
Amy Sithavady has been promoted to VP of Human Resources & Compliance. She began her career nearly 16 years ago with the credit union’s service team. She has worked as a Collections Specialist, Internal Auditor, and the AVP of Finance & Administration. She most recently earned her SHRM-CP designation.
Kimberly Parker has been promoted to VP of Service Center Operations. For over eight years, Parker has consistently demonstrated exceptional leadership. She has held positions as a Teller, Cards Specialist, Cards Manager, and most recently as the AVP of Service Center Operations.
Abby Strout has been promoted to Cards Manager. She began her career with the credit union as a Teller, and then held positions as Service Specialist II, Card Specialist I and Card Specialist II. She has become an expert at catching fraud trends.
Margie Heald has been promoted to Branch Service Manager in Yarmouth. With six years of dedicated service to to the credit union, Heald has excelled in various roles, including Teller, Service Specialist I, and Service Specialist II. Her wealth of knowledge and experience will be an asset to the credit union’s Yarmouth team.
