Lighthouse CU has partnered with the Maine Affordable Housing Coalition (MAHC) to support affordable housing initiatives across the state. Individuals who join Lighthouse CU have the option to receive a complimentary one-year membership with MAHC, furthering the organizations’ shared mission to provide safe, affordable housing for all Mainers. Existing members of MAHC are also eligible to become members of Lighthouse CU.
Through this partnership, the credit union will support MAHC’s important advocacy work. This initiative will help build awareness and expand resources to help get more people in homes, a priority focus for both organizations.
MAHC is a statewide organization that works to create and preserve affordable housing in Maine. With a network of over 130 organizations, including developers, architects, engineers, and housing service providers, MAHC advocates for policies at both the state and federal levels to ensure safe housing for all. This new partnership with Lighthouse CU enables individuals to support this cause while receiving benefits from both organizations.
