That’s not Michael Meyers. It is Seaboard FCU’s very own President/CEO, Kyle Casburn.
Seaboard FCU is always looking for fun and creative ways to raise money for the Campaign for Ending Hunger, but their latest effort takes the cake, or should we say, the pie!
From September 23 – October 21, Seaboard members and employees could purchase tickets to vote on which manager they would like to get a pie to the face. Tickets were collected in individual bowls containing the names and photos of the potential manager to get pied. Four managers–plus Seaboard FCU’s President/CEO, Kyle Casburn–volunteered to take part in the fundraiser.
When the tickets were tallied, two people were the clear winners: Kyle Casburn and Chad Desjardins, the credit union’s Vice President of Lending. Pies were tossed on October 31 with Casburn getting not one, but two delicious pies to his face!
This fundraiser is a shining example of how Seaboard FCU’s team of good sports will go to great (and humorous) lengths to combat hunger in their community.
