Running Miles to Feed Those In Need

Charlotte Waterman from Sabattus Regional CU completes the Sugarloaf Marathon.

The League joins Sabattus Regional CU in congratulating Charlotte Waterman, the credit union’s Marketing Specialist – Teller. She recently finished her first Sugarloaf Marathon on May 12.

Waterman used her race opportunity to fundraise for the credit union’s Ending Hunger program. She set a goal of raising $100 per mile, and with the support of family, friends, co-workers, and members, she raised $2,400.20!

“We are so proud of Charlotte for finishing a 26-mile marathon, which is a huge accomplishment in itself, and raising this incredible amount of money for our Ending Hunger program,” shared Michelle Firczak, Executive Vice President at Sabattus Regional CU. “We were happy to support her goal while she ran to support ours—ending hunger in our community.”
