Midcoast FCU Was Freezin’ for a Good Reason

Midcoast FCU and its staff are always finding ways to engage in the communities they serve and support initiatives to help their neighbors in need.

On February 24, a team from the credit union dressed in festive food costumes participated in the Freeport Community Services’ annual Freeze Out. This special event raises money to provide food and fuel assistance for residents of Freeport and Pownal. This year, event participants stood at different locations in these two communities to raise dollars and awareness about food insecurity.
