Maine Family FCU proudly announces the distribution of four $5,000 donations to local organizations dedicated to combating food insecurity in the Lewiston-Auburn community. The recipients of these contributions are the Auburn Police Activities League, Kaydenz Kitchen, The Store Next Door Project, and Trinity Jubilee Center.

These donations come as part of Maine Family FCU’s fundraising efforts on behalf of the Maine Credit Unions’ Campaign for Ending Hunger. Credit unions across the state are committed to making a positive impact on the lives of those facing food insecurity, and this initiative reflects Maine Family FCU’s dedication to supporting the Lewiston-Auburn area.

The Auburn Police Activities League, Kaydenz Kitchen, The Store Next Door Project, and Trinity Jubilee Center provide essential resources and support to individuals and families in need. The $5,000 donations from Maine Family FCU will further enhance the capabilities of these organizations to address food insecurity and contribute to building a stronger, more resilient community.

“As the cost of food continues to rise, it is increasingly imperative for us to stand united in the fight against hunger,” said Dan Clarke, President & CEO at Maine Family FCU. “We are proud to support these remarkable organizations that are making a meaningful difference in the lives of those in need in the Lewiston-Auburn community.”
