NorState FCU Is Offering Eight $1,000 Scholarships

NorState FCU has been awarding scholarships to local high school seniors for more than 30 years and is pleased to announce it will be providing eight $1,000 scholarships to qualified recipients in 2024.

“NorState FCU is pleased to continue its practice of awarding scholarships to students in our membership area,” stated Mark Johnson, SVP Strategy and Performance at NorState FCU. “As a lifelong educator, I recognize the value of education in unlocking the potential in all of us, and I am pleased that NorState is helping to make higher education more attainable for promising students. I look forward to seeing what our awardees accomplish and can bring back to our communities.”

Any student who is an active NorState FCU member, has been accepted to an institution of higher education, and attends a high school in Aroostook County or in northern Penobscot County can now apply for one of the scholarships. Applications are available online at norstatefcu.org and winners will be announced in June. The deadline to apply for a scholarship is May 13, 2024.
