Acadia FCU is proud to announce that Erica Albert, Vice President of Finance, has earned the Certified Credit Union Investments Professional (CCUIP) designation.
CCUIP designation signifies a deep understanding of how to optimize and diversify a credit union’s investment strategy. This achievement underscores Albert’s mastery of crucial knowledge in managing and guiding Acadia FCU’s investments and processes, which play a vital role in ensuring financial stability and liquidity for the credit union.
Albert attended CUNA Investment Certification School in San Diego, CA, where she completed the Fundamentals of Investment Management and Advanced Investment Strategies programs, and also passed the required certification exams.
To maintain her designation, Albert is required to undergo recertification every three years, ensuring that her investment knowledge remains current. CCUIP recertification criteria includes engaging in ongoing education by completing a series of eight webinars covering the latest trends in investments.
“We believe in the empowerment of our staff through continuing education and development,” stated Joey Cannan, Executive Vice President at Acadia FCU. “Erica’s accomplishment is a testament to her dedication and our commitment to fostering a culture of growth and excellence. We are incredibly proud of her achievement and will continue to support all our staff in their professional development journeys.”
