#ILoveMyCreditUnion Donation Benefits Northern Light Eastern Maine Medical Center

During the #ILoveMyCreditUnion social media blitz in July, all participating credit union leagues were entered into a raffle for donations to a Children’s Miracle Network Hospital in their area. The Maine Credit Union League was the lucky winner of the $5,000 donation and chose to split the donation to benefit both The Barbara Bush Children’s Hospital and Northern Light Eastern Maine Medical Center (EMMC).

On October 4, the League’s Jen Burke and Jake Holmes visited Northern Light to present a check to Kelly Pearson, EMMC’s Program and Corporate Engagement Director.

“We were thrilled when we learned we were a donation recipient,” shared Jen Burke, League Assistant Vice President of Communications & Outreach. “Our two Children’s Miracle Network hospitals provide critical care and support to Maine children and their families. We are grateful we can play a small role in funding the important work they do. I know Jake and I both enjoyed the opportunity to visit EMMC.”
