On Monday, August 28 at 1:00 pm, we hope your credit union will join the League’s August Town Hall to learn about the Electronic Lien Titling Program (ELT) scheduled to launch in January 2024. The Maine Bureau of Motor Vehicles will help facilitate this discussion and provide credit unions an overview of the new program, its benefits, and how to enroll. The Bureau will also outline how ELT can reduce or eliminate a lender’s need to file, retrieve, and mail title certificates.
In addition, the League’s Governmental Affairs team will provide a brief legislative recap covering bills of significance and what is on tap for the next legislative session. The team will also share how your credit union can get better engaged with the League’s advocacy efforts.
