The County FCU is excited to announce that Cale Burger recently joined the credit union as the Senior Vice President of Member Business Lending.
“We are happy to have such an experienced commercial lender expand our commercial lending program,” said Ryan Ellsworth, President and CEO at The County FCU. “He will bring fresh insights and greater opportunities for the businesses in the communities we serve.”
Prior to joining The County FCU, Burger worked in commercial lending at Katahdin Trust Company for 15 years. Before that, he spent several years as a commercial lender with Camden National Corporation and Bar Harbor Bank & Trust. Burger also worked with Bangor Savings Bank as a branch manager.
“I am thrilled to help The County build their commercial lending program to reflect their continued growth,” said Burger. “This opportunity provides a unique experience in creating the processes and practices The County will implement for years to come.”
Burger earned his bachelor’s degree in business from the University of Southern Maine and has spent his most of his career living and working in Maine. He is the recent past president of Camp Capella and is an aviation enthusiast. He enjoys spending time with his family and his pets.
