Five County CU Expands Its Field of Membership

The Maine Bureau of Financial Institutions recently approved a request from Five County CU to amend its bylaws and expand its rural district field of membership. The credit union can now serve persons who live, work, or worship in Franklin, Oxford, Penobscot, and Piscataquis Counties.

“This expansion will increase our current field of membership by four additional counties, bringing our total field of membership to twelve counties,” shared Julie A. Marquis, CCE, President & CEO at Five County CU. “As a result, this will help us to serve more Mainers with our great programs and services.”

The credit union’s field of membership also includes the following counties: Androscoggin, Cumberland, Kennebec, Knox, Lincoln, Sagadahoc, Somerset, and Waldo.
