OTIS FCU Awards Five $1,000 Scholarships to High School Seniors

Five graduating high school seniors who are members of OTIS FCU were recently awarded $1,000 scholarships. To be considered, each recipient submitted a scholarship application; a brief essay; letters of recommendation from their teacher or guidance counselor; and copies of acceptance letters from a college, university, or technical school.

This year’s scholarship winners are Emma Towers, Lucas Towers, Ava Tilger, Mayla Madison, and Chance Brooks.

Eligibility for an OTIS FCU scholarship is based on the following qualifications:

  • Primary member of OTIS FCU
  • Graduating high school senior
  • Accepted to a post-secondary school
  • Continuing their higher education within one year of completing high school

Scholarship recipients were selected by the credit union’s scholarship committee, comprised of OTIS FCU employees and its Board of Directors.
