The Finance Authority of Maine Honors Evergreen CU with Award

FAME Acting CEO Carlos Mello presents Evergreen CU’s award to Jere Shaw, Vice President and Senior Commercial Officer.

Evergreen CU recently received the Lender at Work for Maine Award by the Finance Authority of Maine (FAME) in a category for lenders with less than $1.5 billion in assets.

This past year, FAME partnered with Evergreen CU on providing twelve loans for local businesses, totaling approximately $7 million. These loans helped create 34 new jobs and retain an additional 132 positions.
