Following an extensive search, Eastmill FCU is pleased to announce it has chosen Derek Hebert, a seasoned credit union professional with a focus on member experience, to lead the organization into the future. Hebert, a lifelong Mainer, will replace Dan Byron who is retiring after many years of dedicated service to the credit union movement.
Hebert joins Eastmill FCU with 24 years of experience working in the financial services industry. He most recently served as the Business Services Manager at University Credit Union. His banking background also includes both relationship and branch management roles at financial establishments in Maine.
The Board of Directors of Eastmill FCU would like to welcome Derek to the community and wish him the very best in his new role as their CEO. They also would like to thank Dan for his tireless dedication to Eastmill FCU’s members, employees, and the Katahdin region.
