The League’s Jake Holmes Recognized as a Mainebiz NextUp: 40 Under 40 Honoree

Forty young professionals were recently recognized on the 2022 Mainebiz NextUp: 40 Under 40 list. Jake Holmes, the League’s Financial Literacy Outreach Coordinator, was named in the inaugural edition. He will be celebrated, along with the other nominees, on November 9 at a special ceremony in Portland.

According to Mainebiz, the honorees are part of a select class of upcoming business leaders who share a commitment to business success and personal growth, along with a passion to help strengthen the communities that they live and work in. The individuals hail from a variety of industries, climbing the corporate ladder or charting their own courses as entrepreneurs.

“Jake is a passionate advocate for Maine’s credit unions and is deeply deserving of this special recognition,” said Todd Mason, President/CEO of the Maine Credit Union League. “He embodies the spirit of the credit union People Helping People philosophy in everything he does, whether its teaching students about the importance of budgeting, volunteering at the Good Shepherd Food Bank, or spending time with his son. He is an exceptional employee and person who is certainly worthy of being included on the inaugural 40 Under 40 list.”

A complete list of the 2022 honorees, including Holmes’ profile, can be found on Mainebiz’s website. Congratulations, Jake!
