Between the Take a Chance to End Hunger Sweepstakes to see the New England Patriots and Maine Credit Unions’ partnership with the Portland Sea Dogs, there are several opportunities support the Campaign for Ending Hunger and showcase the People Helping People philosophy. But, you’ll want to take action soon to participate in either of these activities.
Take a Chance to End Hunger Sweepstakes
Nearly half of our credit unions have already signed up to participate in the sweepstakes, hoping that one of their members will win two tickets to the opening game at Gillette Stadium to see the Patriots play on September 25.
From now until September 5, your credit union has the chance to collect donations to the Campaign for Ending Hunger in exchange for a sweepstakes ticket. Credit unions can request up to 50 tickets to participate in this fundraiser by visiting the League’s website. The winning ticket will be drawn on September 9.
Portland Sea Dogs Credit Union Ticket Packages
While baseball season is more than halfway done, there’s still time to purchase one or both of the two remaining Portland Sea Dogs Ending Hunger ticket packages. For $1,100, your credit union can receive 100 General Admission tickets to either of the following games, or 50 General Admission tickets to both games:
- Sunday, August 28 at 1:00 pm | Portland Sea Dogs vs. Hartford Yard Goats
- Saturday, September 10 at 1:00 pm | Portland Sea Dogs vs. Binghamton Rumble Ponies
For each package sold, the Sea Dogs will donate $600 back to the Campaign for Ending Hunger—money that will be attributed to your credit union’s 2022 fundraising total. If there is availability, your credit union could purchase packages for both games for $2,200.
The Portland Sea Dogs have created an online form for credit unions to use to purchase their tickets. Please click here to be redirected to the site.
