The County FCU Announces Several Promotions

The County FCU is pleased to announce they have recently promoted three members of their team.

Jacob Kinney has been promoted to Assistant Vice President of Information Technology. Kinney began his career with The County as a part-time teller while attending classes at the University of Maine at Presque Isle. After graduating with a degree in business administration with a concentration in information technology and project management, Kinney began working as an IT support technician for The County.

“We’re very proud of Jake,” said Ryan Ellsworth, President and CEO at The County Federal Credit Union. “We try to promote from within our organization when the need and qualifications align. Jake is a great example of an individual with a strong work ethic who is trying hard and, as a result, is being propelled upward in our organization. He will do a fantastic job in his new role and will lead the credit union’s technology department onto the next level.”

Kyle Taylor has been promoted to Member Business Development Officer. Taylor has served The County FCU for seven years in different branches. In 2015, he began as a loan officer in the Houlton branch before becoming the branch manager. He transitioned to serving as the branch manager in Presque Isle in 2019.

“Kyle’s personality and experience lend themselves very well to this position,” said Dan Bagley, Executive Vice President at The County FCU. “Kyle’s great attitude and willingness to put the highest priority on the needs of the member will suit him well as he assumes this role. The Member Business Loan department is an area of growth for our credit union and I look forward to working with Kyle on growing our ability to serve small businesses across our entire field of membership. As a credit union, it is our pleasure to serve the business community, and Kyle is a great addition to that team effort.”

The credit union also promoted Tori Ewing. She will now serve as the Assistant Branch Manager at the credit union’s Presque Isle location. Ewing has served the members of The County FCU as a mortgage loan officer and will continue to do so in her new role. She began working for the credit union in 2020.

“As a management team member, it has been a great experience working with Tori and being a small part of her development,” shared Bagley. “Tori places the highest priority on delivering a quality experience for the members that utilize her branch and will exceed the expectations of the position due to her positivity and professionalism. The credit union’s mission of improving our members’ lives, working in the member’s best interest, and making it easy to do business with us is reinforced by Tori’s service delivery. People Helping People comes naturally to Tori and she will work hard to exceed those expectations and live up to the standards we set for ourselves to be a premier financial institution in the communities we serve.”
